Did you know there is a new variant of the Koobface worm is running wild on facebook, installing malware on the computers of victims who click on a link to a fake Youtube video. Its also spamming facebook’s member. For the facebook’s users its really frustrating. Many of facebook users changed their e-mail and my password so far, to minority the spammed on their account.

The Koobface worm is dangerous. It can be dropped by other malware and downloaded unknowingly by a user when visiting malicious Web sites, Trend Micro reports. Net-Worm.Win32.Koobface is a network-aware worm that attempts to replicate across the existing network(s) and also can be used to hijack certain aspects of users’ web browser functionality (such as homepage, search page, and security settings).
